Malai Chicken
Ingredients
Chicken boneless 1 kg- Onion chopped 1
- Tomato paste ½ cup
- Yoghurt 1 cup
- Whipped cream 1 cup
- Garlic ginger paste 1 tbsp
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- Cinnamon stick 1
- Cardamom 2
- Bay leaf 1
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Cumin powder ½ tsp
- All spice powder 1 tsp
- Fresh coriander 2 tbsp
- Green chilies chopped 4-5
- Salt to taste
- Oil as required
Cooking Method:
Heat oil in a pan and add chili powder, cinnamon, cardamom and bay leaf and cook for 1 minute. Add onion and fry for 2 minutes. Also add ginger garlic paste and chicken and fry for 5 minutes. Then add coriander, green chilies, cumin powder and salt. Put 1 cup of water and cook for 15 minutes till the chicken tender. Then add tomato paste, yoghurt and cream and fry on medium heat till the oil comes arise. Remove from heat and add green chilies, fresh coriander leaves and all spice powder. Malai chicken is ready to serve with chapatti and steamed rice.
