Restaurant Style Fried Chicken

Ingredients

  • meadow-vale-southern-fried-chickenChicken pieces 3 pounds
  • Egg 1
  • Club soda 2 tbsp
  • Pancake mix 1 cup
  • Italian style dry salad dressing 1
  • Flour ½ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Poultry seasoning 1 tsp
  • Pepper ¼ tsp
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Paprika 1 tsp

Recipe:

  • Wash and dry chicken finely.
  • Prepare a mixture of flour, dry salad dressing and salt.
  • Dip chicken pieces in this mixture and keep for 2 minutes.
  • Beat egg and club soda.
  • Blend pancake with poultry seasoning, paprika and pepper.
  • Dip chicken pieces in the mixture of egg and club soda then in the mixture of pancake.
  • Fry the chicken pieces on medium heat.
  • Drain on paper towels and mix hot with chili sauce.
