Continental Steak Rolls

Ingredients

  • exps16996_scz960351d131Bread cubes 2 cups
  • Ripe olives chopped ¼ cup
  • Milk ½ cup
  • Nutmeg 1/8 tsp
  • Condensed cream 1 can
  • Almonds ¼ cup
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Garlic salt ½ tsp
  • Flour ¼ cup
  • Round steak 2 pounds
  • Pepper ¼ tsp
  • Onion salt 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp
  • Cooking sherry ¼ cup

Recipe:

  • Cut round steak into 6 serving pieces.
  • Combine bread cubes, olives, sherry, onion salt, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper.
  • Prepare mixture of salt, garlic salt and flour and roll steak in it.
  • Top each piece with stuffing.
  • Bring opposite edges around stuffing to meat.
  • Use toothpicks to hold together.
  • Sprinkle with almonds
  • Bake in oven for 30 minutes.
  • Combine soup, milk and nutmeg and pour over steak rolls.
  • Cover and bake again for 2 hours till meat is tender.
  • Arrange in plate and serve with sauce and noodles.
