Continental Steak Rolls
Ingredients
Bread cubes 2 cups- Ripe olives chopped ¼ cup
- Milk ½ cup
- Nutmeg 1/8 tsp
- Condensed cream 1 can
- Almonds ¼ cup
- Salt ½ tsp
- Garlic salt ½ tsp
- Flour ¼ cup
- Round steak 2 pounds
- Pepper ¼ tsp
- Onion salt 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp
- Cooking sherry ¼ cup
Recipe:
- Cut round steak into 6 serving pieces.
- Combine bread cubes, olives, sherry, onion salt, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper.
- Prepare mixture of salt, garlic salt and flour and roll steak in it.
- Top each piece with stuffing.
- Bring opposite edges around stuffing to meat.
- Use toothpicks to hold together.
- Sprinkle with almonds
- Bake in oven for 30 minutes.
- Combine soup, milk and nutmeg and pour over steak rolls.
- Cover and bake again for 2 hours till meat is tender.
- Arrange in plate and serve with sauce and noodles.
