Spicy Backed Fish
Ingredients
White fish 1 kg- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
- Salt 2 tbsp
- Garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Ginger paste 2 tbsp
- Red chili powder 2 tsp
- Green chilies crushed 5-6
- Ajwain 1 tsp
- Coriander seeds ground 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder ½ tsp
- Garm masala 1 tbsp
- Chat masala 1 tsp
Steps:
- Wash and cut fish into small pieces and rub lemon juice and salt on them and keep for marination for 1 hour.
- Make a paste of garlic ginger paste, crushed green chilies, red chili powder, turmeric, ajwain, garm masala and rest of lemon juice.
- Coat the marinated fish pieces in that paste and keep in refrigerator for further marination for 6 hours.
- Place fish pieces in baking tray and baked on 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes. 15 minutes before cooking take out the fish from oven and brush oil and cook further till it cook finely.
- Sprinkle chat masala on the fish pieces and garnish with lemon slices and serve hot.
