Mutton Stew

  • Mutton ½ kg
  • Garlic 8-10 cloves crushed
  • Ginger 2 inch pieced sliced
  • Onions ½ cup roughly chopped
  • Green chilies 1 tsp chopped
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Dry coriander 1 tsp
  • White cumin 1 tbsp
  • Red chili whole 6-8
  • Bay leaves 1-2
  • Cinnamon 1-2 pieces
  • Black pepper whole 6-8
  • Big cardamom 2-3
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

Method:

Add all the ingredients and 4 tbsp cooking oil in meat and keep it for cooking till it tenderizes finely. Then add remaining oil and cook for 5 minutes more on low heat. Then cover the wok and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with green coriander leaves and lemon. Serve hot with steamed rice or chapatti.
