Mutton Qorma Biryani
Ingredients
Mutton meat 1 kg- Yoghurt 1 cup
- Garlic ginger paste 1 tbsp
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Cardamom 6
- Cloves 4
- Black zeera ½ tsp
- Yellow food color 1 pinch
- Garm masala powder 1 tsp
- Vinegar 1 tbsp
- Rice 1 kg
- Onion sliced 2
- Coriander powder 2 tsp
- Green chilies 4
- Large cardamom 2
- Black pepper whole 6
- Salt to taste
- Oil 2 cup
Recipe:
Mix yoghurt, garlic ginger paste, red chili powder, cardamom, black zeera and coriander powder in meat and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan and fry onion till brown. Add marinated meat in it and cook on low heat till meat tender. Qorma is ready. Take a large wok and boil water after adding green chilies, cardamoms, black peppers, garm masala and vinegar. Add soaked rice and salt in it. Cook rice to half. Now make layers of qorma and rice in a wok and sprinkle yellow food color mixed with milk. Simmer for 15-20 minutes. Spicy mutton qorma biryani is ready. Serve with raita and salad.
